DSE specializes in providing quality dedicated delivery service for furniture and appliance retailers through the recruitment and training of Independent Contractors. Depending on the size of the operation, the service is managed by either on-site DSE management or a DSE Regional Manager. DSE maintains an excellent ratio of Managers to trucks, insuring the client will always have ample management support.
Each delivery truck is operated by a small business owner that has the incentive to make the retailer more successful by providing a higher level of service due to their increased stake in the overall prosperity of the business. The Contractor is dedicated to a particular account, thereby gaining expertise of that client’s business and developing rapport with their personnel.
Independent Contractors exhibit individual initiative, commitment, and pride. They not only have a vested interest in their company, but also in the success of the client’s business. With the proper business management and guidance provided by DSE, a Contractor has the opportunity to begin their own business and become a valuable part of the client’s overall success. The bottom line is that Contractor priorities are different than that of employee drivers in that they mirror the philosophies of the retailer in trying to maximize productivity and profit margins.
The delivery teams wear uniforms representing the client’s business and operate in either a generic white truck or a logoed truck if the client chooses. The furniture is carefully inspected and blanket wrapped for delivery. Our delivery teams will insure that the furniture is assembled and placed in the residence to the customer’s satisfaction and that all debris is removed.
